Kicking Off Teacher Data Literacy Week
Data is one tool in a teacher's tool box to support student learning, especially right now, as they navigate the challenges of distance learning. Yet simply having access to the data is not enough. It is critical that teachers are data literate.
Teachers are hungry for data literacy skills, but continue to face obstacles in using data to support student learning. With teachers and students thrust into uncharted distance learning territory, it is increasingly important that teachers have access to – and support in using – the data they need to keep students learning from home.
With this urgent task in mind, the Data Quality Campaign is proud to kick off Teacher Data Literacy Week 2020. Join us and our partners for a week of conversations exploring why teacher data literacy matters more than ever for educators, families, and students. Join the conversation on social media using #TDLMatters.
