Heavy rains and flash flooding have caused significant damage and displacement across several areas in Yemen, adding to the devastation and deteriorating humanitarian conditions resulting from over nine years of conflict.

More than 62,000 people have been affected by these devastating floods.

UNFPA’s rapid response mechanism has been immediately activated in the affected areas to provide emergency relief to displaced and flood-affected families, but more aid is urgently needed.
