Newsletter for Festival of Sharing
Greetings! The Sharefests are right around the corner. We hope you will consider supporting one (or more!) of these events with your prayers, time, talents or gifts. These events are the times in which we come together for service, fellowship and the collection and distribution of our collective efforts. Each event is unique and will feature different opportunities to serve and be in fellowship. Come for some or all of the day and see the joy in sharing!

August Kit Highlight- [link removed] MO Reading and Writing Pack
While this time of year gains a lot of attention for back to school gear, we also want to bring attention to the needs that arise at different times of the school year. The reading and writing packs can help fill gaps when students run out of supplies, move to a new school, or lose items in a disaster or displacement situation. Festival is passionate about students being properly equipped to focus on learning.
Global
Church World Service Kit Highlight- [link removed] Period Pack- $25 value, $2 shipping fee
Many of our neighbors live in period poverty—lacking access to necessary feminine care supplies. During the menstrual cycle, these hygiene materials are especially important to healthy practices. Not having supplies like sanitary napkins, tampons, soap and disposable plastic bags can create challenges that lead to unsafe and unsanitary conditions. The CWS Period Pack gives women and girls the essentials they need to feel clean, be healthy and live with dignity during the menstrual cycle.
