John, it’s Wesley Harris and Natasha Marcus here. The two of us couldn’t be more excited to be running to represent North Carolina as your Democratic nominees for Treasurer and Commissioner of Insurance.

Working together in the legislature the last three terms, we’ve seen firsthand that our state can’t handle much more of the GOP’s fiscal irresponsibility, and we’re both running to build a state government that will put our working families, not special interests, first.

We’re also both running tossup races. In a 50/50 state like North Carolina, our elections can go either way—and in Council of State races like ours, success in one race boosts the chances for all. We’re both going to need every ounce of support we can get to talk to the swing voters, come out on top, and change our state for the better this November.
