We have run a campaign that has received far more individual, small-dollar contributions than my Republican opponent.

That’s a fact I am very proud of. I hope that you are, as well.

And today, I am asking you to join them making today the day you make a contribution. Let me explain why:

Absentee ballots drop 40 days before the election, which means we are just over a month away from the start of voting in Michigan. That means time is running out to reach persuadable voters in the state with messaging and communication that will encourage them to vote for me when they cast their ballots.

That also means a donation a few weeks down the road is great, but it’s less impactful than one you make today.
