It's frightening to watch the president advising the American people to inject bleach into their bodies or expose themselves to dangerous UV rays. But also not in the least bit out of character for a president who consistently scoffs at science and ignores the advice of experts.
Time and time again, Trump has shown his disregard for the American people. From ignoring the needs of middle-class Americans to rejecting scientific facts, it's clear he has abdicated the responsibilities of the highest office in our democracy. The only way to restore competent leadership in Washington is to vote him and the yes-men who refuse to hold him accountable OUT this November.
John, November 2020 cannot come soon enough. Trump is unfit to lead, and his latest comments on potential "cures" for COVID-19 further demonstrate that.
We need a president that understands the consequences of their actions, who knows that everything they say and do matters. People are looking to Washington for guidance, relief, and for a strong captain at the helm. But unfortunately, that's quite the opposite of what they're getting.
The only way we're going to get out of this crisis safely is if we have the competent leadership we deserve in Washington. But we need resources to make sure every eligible American knows how and when to vote safely this year. Please, chip in $3 or more today.
