I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain why helping us meet our mid-month deadline tonight at midnight is so important.

As we’re in the thick of summer, people are spending less time on their screens, and that means they’re reading less of these kinds of messages.

As a result, our fundraising numbers are bound to take a hit.

And this slowdown is happening just as Tim Kaine is ramping up his attacks on us.

If we’re going to be ready to fight back, we have to have a war chest prepared.
