BREAKING: "Lindsey Graham 'promises' ACA repeal if Republicans win in 2020"

"...as the political world looks ahead to the next election cycle, some Republicans are publicly confirming the fears of health-care advocates: if given a chance, GOP policymakers have every intention of trying again to tear down the Affordable Care Act." - MSNBC, 08/09/19

Friends, the right to affordable healthcare is not a red or blue issue, it is a human issue. That's why Kim and our team asked you to share your ACA stories:

"My daughter and her family wouldn't be alive except for the ACA and the Medicaid expansion in our state. First, my daughter is disabled. She has several chronic conditions, including epilepsy and arthritis... Her husband is diabetic, diagnosed just 3 years ago after being hospitalized for over a week with near-fatal blood sugar readings... I'm certain that without ACA, one or both of them would no longer be alive." - Becky

"I am a stage 4 melanoma survivor. Not only did the ACA protect me with its pre-existence clause, but it also saved me from being kicked off the lifetime maximum cap that used to be in place prior to the ACA. So yes, I am very grateful for the ACA! Not only for myself -- but I was also a hospice RN who saw first hand the devastation and worry my patients endured prior to ACA enactment." - Kathy

"I have been battling Crohn's disease since I was 21. I am now 62. Without affordable health care and coverage, it would be nothing but a death sentence. Prescription costs are through the roof as are deductibles. It's a shame in the US people will die because of political beliefs instead of showing common human decency." - Mark

If the Republicans are successful in repealing the ACA, more than 20 million Americans -- including 800,000 people in Washington state and 50,000 people here in the 8th district -- are at risk of losing their health care coverage.

But this is about more than just numbers. It's about people like Becky, Kathy, and Mark, who have their own stories and whose lives would be devastated if the ACA was repealed.

So please, add your name right now and join Kim in defending the Affordable Care Act from these attacks.
