Alimma has been working at the Seoul Eye Center in Ulaanbatafor over 12 years because her work brings health and happiness to others. She had the opportunity to participate in the Flying Eye Hospital project in 2018 and the Flying Eye Hospital Virtual Course in Ophthalmic Nursing in 2021 during the height of the COVID pandemic. Alimma shared:

Mongolia has one of the lowest cataract surgical rates in Asia despite being the leading cause of blindness in the country. Over 1,400 per million people each year get diagnosed with cataracts in Mongolia and only 6 out of 21 provinces have the capacity to treat and conduct cataract surgery.
