There is so much money in politics. I’m talking about the wealthy mega-donors dumping millions into our elections to save the GOP majority. The super PACs in Mitch McConnell’s back pocket flooding millions more into key Senate races. And, of course, there’s always the shady special interests who want a piece of this election.
But here’s a question I get asked a lot: Who powers our campaign?
The answer is easy — it’s folks like you! People like Patricia in Apple Valley, Scott in Minneapolis, Shannon in Stillwater, Terry in Edina, and Kathie in Woodbury who have all given in just the past few days.
I could go on and on about the countless Minnesotans who have supported our campaign by chipping in a few hard-earned dollars at a time. These folks contribute because they believe in what we’re fighting for.
We’re able to take on the super PACs, special interests, and wealthy right-wing donors because of Patricia, Scott, Shannon, Terry, Kathie, and so many others. That’s something I’m very proud of.
But we’re only going to see more of these shadowy players and dark money organizations target us in the months ahead, which means we’re going to need even more grassroots donors like you to step up.
If it makes sense for you financially, can I count on you to add a donation before our end-of-month deadline to show these guys the power of our grassroots movement? Chip in $10 or our average contribution this month of $18.79:

This is a must-win race for Democrats to take the majority in the Senate. With every dollar you give, you’re showing we have what it takes to win with the power of grassroots fundraising and campaigning. That’s something I can’t thank you enough for.
