John,
In an act of stunning corporate greed, Kellogg’s announced last week that they are closing the Omaha, NE, plant that I worked at and was fired from after I led a strike to protect our jobs and wages.
We all know what’s going to happen next: These jobs will probably be shipped down to Mexico, and the company will get huge tax breaks from the federal government while they do so.
Over 600 Nebraskans – and probably hundreds more – are losing their jobs. Truck drivers, HR, management, and mechanics like me. Thousands of families will lose their futures to corporate greed.
Shareholders are ecstatic. The Kellogg’s stock price jumped 16% after the news. They’ll make millions off this. Because Washington politicians like my opponent Republican Deb Fischer put the stock price of their corporate donors ahead of workers.
They’ve hollowed America's manufacturing base and destroyed America’s middle class. It’s shortsighted. It’s foolish. It’s wrong.
THIS is why I am running for U.S. Senate. Because there is not a single blue-collar, card-carrying worker like me in the Senate, and it’s about damn time we had a voice to stand up against corporate greed – and for everyday workers.
The corporate PACs are coming after me, giving millions of dollars to my opponent Republican Deb Fischer’s campaign – because three new polls show I am neck-and-neck with her, and one even shows me LEADING by 2 points!
This is a Senate race we can win, but I am counting on grassroots donors like you to give right now if we’re going to defeat corporate Republican Deb Fischer and win this Senate seat.

I’m not taking money from corporations or their stooges.
If we’re going to elect someone to the U.S. Senate whose collars are blue, I need people you to chip in now and help fund this campaign.
Thank you so much for you support,
Dan
