We’ve got
an important fundraising deadline tonight in Massachusetts — and anything
you’re able to contribute to our re-election campaign before the deadline
will be a huge help.

Your support at this time is powerfully important, because I’m competing
against a Republican crypto lawyer that was recruited from Rhode Island
and has a Super PAC funneling millions of dollars in this race.

I don’t have a Super PAC to turn to when we need campaign donations.
That’s not my style. The only way we can show that we’re competitive,
fight back, and defeat them is through donations to this email.

[ [link removed] ]So if you’re able to,
any amount you can donate before tonight’s deadline will help our campaign
secure the resources we need to compete, and will help demonstrate the
strength of our campaign on our next fundraising report. Can you make a
donation before tonight’s deadline?

This is a trend that continues repeating itself in elections across the
country. Powerful special interests use their piles of money to fund
campaigns and support Super PACs for politicians that will bow to them and
work in their favor. They use their money to hire armies of lobbyists that
swarm Capitol Hill. They use their money to put the government on their
side, all so they can make even bigger piles of money.

But we’ve got a powerful tool on our side too: a grassroots movement. In
the long run, to make our country work not just for a thin slice at the
tippy-top but for everyone, we’ve got to overturn Citizens United and
enact sweeping anti-corruption legislation (yes, I’ve got a plan for
that).

But for now, we’ve got to shore up our defenses against Super PAC spending
and anything else the far right throws at us. Together, we’ll keep working
to stop big money from drowning out the voices of working families. But
first, we need to secure the resources we need to fight back and win
re-election.

okay. But if you are in the position to make a donation tonight, it would
be a huge help.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
