Yesterday was a great day for Ranked Choice Voting! I’m thrilled to share that RCV supporters Sarah Kruger, FairVote Minnesota’s Chief of Staff, and Huldah Hiltsley in Brooklyn Park won their primaries! Additionally, strong RCV advocates Katie Jones in 61A (Rep. Hornstein’s seat), Alex Falconer in 49A (Rep. Laurie Pryor’s seat), and Allie Wolfe in 26B in the La Crescent area won their primaries. And, in the Minnetonka-Mound area, Ann Johnson Stewart, a super fan of RCV, won the primary in the special election for Senate (Sen. Kelly Morrison’s seat).
As we look toward November, the prospects for growing the RCV majority in the Minnesota legislature are brighter than ever!
With just 82 days until election day, our candidate program is in full force, knocking on doors and calling voters to elect these and other pro-RCV candidates throughout Minnesota. To ensure we can continue this critical work, we need your support. Please consider making a generous donation of $100, $250, $500, or whatever amount you can give today. I’m also excited to announce that we’ve received a $50,000 matching gift towards our candidate program, so every dollar you give will be matched dollar-for-dollar!
Together, we can strengthen our efforts to elect pro-RCV candidates and keep the momentum going.
Let’s do this!
