In a moment, I’m going to ask you to

When Rudy was a young boy, he would wake up before dawn to help his family in the grape fields of Central California. While most kids played, Rudy was providing for his family. That’s something I and numerous children of immigrants can relate to – putting the needs of the whole collective team first.
Years later, Rudy became the first-ever Latino elected to the Bakersfield City Council. He then ran for and was elected to the California State Assembly where he helped win overtime for farm workers, lowered medicine costs, and fought tirelessly for clean drinking water.
What I appreciate about Rudy is that he's laser focused on uplifting working families in the Central Valley community. I was proud to knock doors for Rudy in his March primary, and I look forward to doing everything possible to help him flip this seat in November.
