Friend,

JD Vance – you know, the guy from Ohio trying to convince Michiganders to let him in the White House – just visited Michigan for the third time since he was named the Republican VP candidate a month ago.

He was back to fire up the far-right base and rally support for my opponent, Mike Rogers – and he called me out by name. But it was…kinda weird. He either deeply butchered my name, or tried to shoehorn the word “lie” into my name by calling me “El-LIE-za.” Either way, it just came off as awkward.

He knows that our campaign is the only thing stopping Republicans from flipping the Senate, and this is unfortunately not the last time he will use his platform to attack me.

I would so appreciate your help to fight back and keep Michigan blue in November. Please, use this link to donate

At his event today, Vance was flanked by my opponent, Mike Rogers, and emphasized how important this Senate race will be to Republicans not only controlling the Senate, but taking back the White House in November. JD Vance used his time here to advance lies about his and Trump’s agenda, while Mike Rogers highlighted culture war issues instead of speaking on issues that truly matter to Michiganders.

Today’s event is yet another indication that Republicans are gearing up to throw everything they can at Michigan, and that Michigan Democrats can’t take anything for granted.

No matter what anyone may tell you, Michigan is as swingy as it gets. And just as we have swung toward Democrats, Michigan is known for swinging right on back.

We can't let that happen. Want to help? Chip in what you can and help send a message that Michigan is sure as hell not ready to swing back to Trump and JD Vance.
