JD Vance is making another pit stop in my district today. We’re taking this moment to show him West Michigan wants nothing to do with his and Trump’s anti-abortion policies. My district was Trump and Vance’s very first stop after the RNC. This is JD Vance’s second visit in a month. AND Trump is trying to get a debate here next month. Believe me when I say–they’re not giving up on trying to take West Michigan back, and we can’t either. We need your help.

In 2022, JD Vance said he “would like abortion to be illegal nationally,” and that same year, voters here in Grand Rapids chose to elect West Michigan’s first pro-choice woman to Congress, flipping a 50-year Republican stronghold.

I haven’t forgotten, and voters certainly haven’t either. I know we have the grassroots power to defend this seat in November, but Republicans are doing everything they can to take it back.
