Touring Two Gun Tactical

Recently, I stopped by Two Gun Tactical in Ridgeland and talked with the owner, John White. I enjoyed the opportunity to tour this state of the art shooting range and to discuss the importance of protecting our Second Amendment rights. 

Visiting with Local Businesses and Leaders

I enjoyed meeting with county supervisor JJ Anders, David Buys from Mississippi State University, Ronnie Shack - owner of The Rib Shack, and Craig Hitt - with the City of Meridian, over lunch. We had a great meal and a great conversation about the exciting things going on in Meridian and Lauderdale County.

House Passed Appropriations Bills

My fellow House Republicans and I are working hard to pass our 12 appropriations bills out of the House. We have passed all 12 of them out of committee and 5 have passed on the House Floor. We have funded about 75% of the government for Fiscal year 2025.

The House also passed the 2025 Defense Appropriations Act, which prioritizes funding for combat-ready military forces to deter war and ensure national security. Read more about this bill here or by clicking below:

Supporting Conservative Policies

Recently, I have been working hard to keep our conservatives policies that have stood the test of time and standing against the liberal polices of the Biden-Harris Administration. Take a look below at a few of the things I have been doing:

I co-sponsored a bill to stop the federal government from penalizing or discriminating against a healthcare provider because the provider does not participate in abortion.

I am a proud co–sponsor of the No American Land for Communist China Act. We must protect property adjacent to our federal lands, military bases and farm land from being purchased by the CCP.

Recently, I co-sponsored a resolution to celebrate the historic decision made by the U. S. Supreme Court in the Dobbs V. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. I am proud that Mississippi led the way in overturning Roe and protecting life.

I am a proud original co-sponsor of the SAVE Act – which would ensure only American citizens vote in our federal elections.
