This November, I am facing not one but two opponents, and Republicans are determined to win my seat.
It has been my honor to serve in Congress and be able to deliver on big bills, including passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which is bringing millions of dollars to repair roads and bridges and capping the prices of insulin at $35 a month for seniors and being able to cap the price of prescription drugs at $2,000 a year for seniors starting in 2025. Those are just a few of the things we have been able to achieve, but there’s still work to be done.
It’s all on the line in November: voting rights, civil rights, women’s rights, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and defending and furthering the progress we’ve made. Republicans will do anything to claw back on our rights and move our nation backward, but we can’t let that happen.
