On Sunday, our campaign held an organizing rally that reminded me why I entered this race in the first place, and got me fired up for the fall.

It’s clear that CA-34 is ready for a representative who was raised in this community, is accountable to all of its members, and truly listens to the needs of the people.
Sunday’s event was all about kicking off our major ground game operation.
We heard from many of you about the issues that matter most: healthcare as a human right, affordable housing, lowering the cost of living, and fighting for reproductive rights.
These are the very issues that Jimmy Gomez claims to support, but when it comes down to it, his right-wing donors won’t let him vote to actually make them a reality.
We are a grassroots, unbossed movement that came within a point of defeating Jimmy Gomez and his corporate backers last cycle. This year, with your support – we’re finishing what we started. Contribute today to fuel our campaign.
This rally wasn’t just a celebration of our shared values — it was the start of something big.
We’re launching an all-out effort on the ground and on the airwaves to reach voters across CA-34, talking to hundreds of people every day.

That is why we need to expand our resources to ensure that our canvassers receive a fair wage with room to grow.
We also know the corporate donor attacks from Jimmy Gomez’s right-wing cronies are coming, so we need to get mailers out, and flood the airwaves and internet with digital ads.
It’s true that campaigns are expensive, but the energy I saw on Sunday tells me we have what it takes to win this thing on the ground.
Now we just need the resources to keep our folks in the field and our ads out there, reaching every corner of our district.
