John,
When the Harris-Walz campaign says that diehard MAGA people are "weird," Lauren Boebert is a prime example of what they're talking about.
Last week, Boebert was in a courtroom in Rifle, Colorado (located in the district that Boebert decided to abandon, and the town in which she has lived most of her life) to sit with her son, Tyler, as he faces multiple felonies and allegations of involvement in a spree of car break-ins and thefts.
The 38 year-old proud "Gigi" (grandmother) was finally showing public support for her son as he faces criminal charges—Boebert had previously skipped his court appearances in favor of rallying outside the Manhattan courtroom where Trump was on trial for his own set of felonies.
That's certainly "weird" enough on its own, but right before her son's hearing, Boebert dashed off a ridiculous post that drives the theme home: "Between Kamala Harris' 'I'm speaking' moment yesterday and Tim Walz's stolen valor being exposed, the wheels are beginning to come off the bus. Trump knows how to win. We've got this, MAGA!"
