Judicial Watch announced today that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) withheld information on a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for information about its coordination with the U.S. Secret Service regarding the July 13 Butler, PA, rally at which former President Trump was shot.

Judicial Watch announced recently that following a hearing on August 6, Judge Ana C. Reyes of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ordered the U.S. Department of Justice to answer the $30 million wrongful death suit filed on behalf of the estate of Ashli Babbitt, who was killed in the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, by then-Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd. The court gave the government 30 days, until September 6, to answer the complaint.
