• Wes is a lifelong patriot who has actually put his life on the line for his country and refused to let Republicans who supported the insurrection claim the term “patriotism” for themselves.
• Wes didn’t just seek out friendly audiences on the trail. He was determined to talk to everyone, and not count anyone out — this shows now as governor, as he spends time with folks all over the state.
• He was one of the most effective, inspiring messengers I’d ever seen — we have all been inspired by his genuine care + compassion for serving Maryland.

In a time of jaded politics, Wes refuses to fall prey to the usual BS. Instead, he’s out here bringing communities together and making Maryland into a state that will lead the way for the rest of the nation.
