Last week, Mitch McConnell said he has no desire to "bail out states" as we struggle, desperately, to combat the effects of COVID-19. Instead of helping us fight this virus, he suggested that states should instead consider filing for bankruptcy.

It's a message. A message to our firefighters, EMTs, police officers, first responders, and all public servants, one that says, "You are expendable."

It's despicable, it's wrong. The choice we'll all have in November is clear: More of the same, dangerous, partisan government or new leadership that puts Americans first.

Ditching Mitch McConnell as Senate leader starts with ousting Joni Ernst (R) from her seat in Iowa. And doing that comes down to you, and your commitment.

In the past year alone, Joni Ernst has urged the Supreme Court to overturn Roe V. Wade, fought to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, and -- behind closed doors -- advocated for cuts to Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare.
