It’s hard to believe that we’re less than three months from Election Day.

If you’re nervous about the state of the election and what’s at stake in November, here’s my advice: Put that energy to good use and contribute to a candidate in a must-win race -- a Senate candidate like Jacky Rosen in Nevada.

Jacky is competing in a toss-up race that CNN calls one of the top 10 Senate seats most likely to flip this year, and she’s up against a Trump-endorsed Republican opponent who has supported plans that would institute an extreme abortion ban, gut Medicare and Social Security, and threaten LGBTQ+ rights.

Every dollar makes a meaningful difference in a race like Jacky’s: a competitive swing state with an expensive media market where GOP-backed outside groups have already spent over $2.6 million.

We need Jacky in the Senate. She’s been crucial to passing the biggest climate bill in U.S. history, lowering prescription drug costs for people on Medicare, and making improvements to veterans’ health care benefits.

So if you’re feeling frustrated about the election, turn that frustration into action by helping Democrats like Jacky who are in tough races that could determine control of the Senate and are in states that can help send Vice President Harris to the White House. Because remember: Control of the Senate will determine who we put on the Supreme Court, what we can do about climate change, and what we can do about abortion access.
