Hey John – it's Joseph Gordon-Levitt here. You may know me as an actor, but this is NOT me plugging my latest movie. (Although Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F did just come out, and it’s not bad 😜)

What I actually want to talk to you about is one of the most important U.S. Senate races in the country: Jacky Rosen's reelection in Nevada. I'll explain why I'm fully behind Jacky – but if you're short on time, I hope you'll join me in splitting $3 between her campaign and Maggie Hassan's right now to keep Nevada and the Senate blue.

I’ve been incredibly lucky in my life, and so I try to do what I can to bring a little positivity to the world. And that’s why I’m doing all I can to help Jacky win her race in Nevada. She's fought to create good-paying jobs, protect reproductive freedom, and defend American democracy itself. 

But here's the nastier side of politics: With our Democratic Senate majority riding on Jacky's race, dark money groups and super PACs aligned with Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are pouring millions of dollars into defeating her.

So I'm personally asking you to help Jacky fight back and win: Will you split a donation of $3 or whatever you can spare between her campaign and Maggie Hassan's to reelect Jacky Rosen in Nevada and protect our Senate majority?

I know you're likely nervous about the outcome of things come November. I am, too. We're reading the same headlines. Worrisome polls, unthinkable Supreme Court decisions, and our fundamental freedoms and democratic norms in the cross-hairs. 

Unfortunately, with the Supreme Court's recent ruling on presidential immunity – effectively putting presidents above the law – Donald Trump could take his worst impulses even further if reelected. Our future depends on the Senate, and the Senate depends on what happens in battleground Nevada this year. Each one of us has to do all we can to help Jacky win, so I'm personally counting on you.
