| Welcome back to another edition of our weekly Kean for Congress newsletter update! We are nearing the RED ZONE. There are only 83 days until the Election. I wanted to check in to see if we could get you on board yet to help re-elect Tom Kean, Jr. Since my last update, Tom has been back in the district during the Congressional Summer Recess. He's been out knocking doors and speaking to voters, visiting project sites for the upcoming FY25 appropriations process, touring fire stations on his "Fire Grants Tour", meeting with constituents and advocacy groups, and attending many fun-filled summer fairs. Have you seen Tom at an event recently? Our Field Team has been hitting the pavement and phones - and is growing by the day. We expanded our team by bringing on a dedicated field staffer for Warren and Sussex - two key counties for our path to victory. Our volunteers have been energized as they help close out the summer voter contact push. More on all this hard work below. Are you ready to work hard to deliver Republican victories in November, and send Tom Kean, Jr. back to Congress? To get involved, please visit our website. Read more below to stay up-to-date on everything Kean for Congress has been up to! |

✅ Tom Kean, Jr. Visits FY25 Community Project Site in Washington Township ✅ |
|
|
On August 9th, Tom toured the Washington Township Police Department in Morris County ahead of the FY25 appropriations discussion to gain insight into local law enforcement needs and priorities. Tom has requested $560,000 for the Township in this year’s FY25 appropriations process. This funding would be used for communication technology upgrades for emergency operations of the police department to allow the agency to meet the growing needs of the community. “We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our Police Department to ensure the residents of Washington Township live in one of the safest towns in New Jersey. This funding included in the federal budget by Congressman Kean will help to support the infrastructure of our police department’s headquarters building.” - Matthew Murello, Washington Township Mayor “I am honored that the Congressman would take the time to visit our headquarters and take the time to see how the grant money would be used. I am exceptionally proud of my officers and the department, and this will help us continue to be one of the best with one of the finest facilities.” - Jeffrey Almer, Washington Township Police Chief |

| This past week, our Field Team was busy with candidate and volunteer trainings, door-launches, phone banks, and letter writing! We were on the ground at the Morris County 4H Fair, the Warren County Fair, and the Somerset County 4H Fair! Tom was able to attend some of these great events (check out those great pictures) with Curtis Bashaw, and county leaders like Senator Doug Steinhardt. Summer fairs and New Jersey? Perfect together. In the past 10 days, Tom has visited every county. Our door knocking program has continued with efforts covering towns like Hampton Borough, Bernards Township, Mendham Borough, New Providence, Westfield, Scotch Plains, Rahway, Raritan Borough, and Bridgewater! Recently, with the help of our locals and volunteers, we have been able to canvass over 3,000 doors. We also are hosting launches in coordination with our county and municipal organizations this weekend in Washington Township. We hope to see you there. Don't forget to click our sign-up link if you would like to join our door efforts in the coming weeks. Kean for Congress held our weekly phone bank series in both Morris and Somerset county. Since my last update, Tom has announced some HUGE endorsements. Kean for Congress has now announced new endorsements from: the National Association of Police Organizations and the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey! See what they are saying: “NAPO is pleased to support your re-election campaign and is confident you will continue your strong support of the law enforcement community in Congress.” - Michael McHale, NAPO President “[The Fire Grants and Safety Act] is important to our members at work where they have the opportunity to improve working conditions in the form of staffing, apparatus, equipment, and training; but also at home where the local fire protection for their families and residences can also benefit. Congressman Kean continues to demonstrate his concern for New Jersey first responders, their health, and their families.” - Matthew Caliente, PFANJ President Follow our social media pages using this link for more endorsements to be announced in the coming days! |

Tom Kean Jr. is the proud husband to Rhonda, and the proud father to two daughters. Their family resides in the wonderful town of Westfield, New Jersey. Tom’s dedication and commitment to public service was inspired at a young age by his grandfather who served in the U.S. House of Representatives, and his father who served as Governor of New Jersey. Throughout Tom’s life, he has followed in their footsteps while setting forth his own path of public service—now serving as a first-term Congressman for New Jersey’s 7th District. Kean's mission is simple: For New Jersey. For America. For All Of Us. Last cycle, NJ-07 was one of the KEY districts responsible for flipping the House from Democrat Rule. This November, you can bet the Radical Left will be gunning for Kean in their efforts to take back Congress. Would you please consider chipping in today ($5, $10, $15, or any amount you can spare) to help Tom counter the attacks that WILL be headed his way? | |
