Hello,
The U.S. Postal Service could run out of money within a few short months, after being hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Postal workers are risking their lives on the frontlines of this crisis to deliver life-saving medication, Social Security checks, emergency supplies, and letters and cards that are keeping families and friends connected to one another. It would be a nightmare to lose the lifeline they provide to struggling and socially-distanced Americans.
Established by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution, the USPS remains popular with an overwhelming majority of Americans. Yet President Trump diminished its importance telling reporters last week, "the Postal Service is a joke." He threatened to veto any relief package that contains relief for the USPS, and now he insists that he'll deny them even a loan unless they immediately quadruple the costs of delivering packages Americans count on.
We need to show President Trump that we won't stand back and allow the U.S. Postal Service to shut down. Will you join Bob in fighting for it? Tell President Trump: "Save the U.S. Postal Service!"
Unlike other delivery services, the USPS delivers mail to everyone in the country at affordable rates, regardless of whether they live in the same neighborhood or in a rural town across the country. They connect people in a way that other services can't or won't do.
The dependable service they provide is especially important now, as millions of Americans prepare to vote by mail in the November election.
If the USPS runs out of money this summer, many of our neighbors could lose access to vital medicine, supplies, and even their right to vote. The only way to stop that from happening is to put pressure on President Trump to save the USPS, before it's too late.
Join Bob in taking action to save the USPS now. Tell President Trump to support emergency funding for the USPS by adding your name.
Thanks for your support,
Team Casey
