Dear John,
I'm Toni Van Pelt, the President of NOW, and I wanted to personally thank you for taking action to propel the women’s movement to new heights.
NOW is the largest organization of grassroots feminist activists in the U.S., and we are at a critical juncture. With Donald Trump in the White House, our commitment to grassroots activism and our 50-year history of changing the culture is needed more than ever.
We're facing new challenges to abortion rights and access to reproductive healthcare; full equality for LGBTQIA people; economic security for all women, particularly women of color; ending violence against women and so much more.
I hope you share my excitement about the work we’re doing together at NOW. I’m looking forward to sharing news of our progress with you and also to hearing your views. You’ve already made such a strong statement on behalf of women by standing with NOW.
