When I’m traveling across Georgia, I get a lot of questions about what exactly the Insurance Commissioner does.

The job isn’t just about insurance. It’s Insurance *and* Safety Fire Commissioner. 

My office regulates all of the plans for building new structures in Georgia — from the sprinkler systems to the elevators.

So, if you don’t see my name inside an elevator, take the stairs!
