America's national parks are facing unprecedented threats, not just from
climate change, but from politicians who continue to cut staff and shrink
budgets for our most beloved parks.
Thanks to chronic underfunding, our parks have a $12 billion maintenance
backlog. Budget cuts have left parks understaffed and ill-equipped to
handle a rising number of visitors who bring with them waste and
pollution. And climate-change deniers are ignoring the signs that put
local wildlife at risk of extinction.
This is serious: The glaciers of Glacier National Park could disappear
within a decade. The unique wildlife of the Everglades faces potential
extinction. Even the iconic Joshua trees are at risk from our warming
climate.

these irreplaceable treasures. Here’s what we’re asking for:

maintain park infrastructure so that our parks remain safe and accessible
for all.

restore the ecosystems and wildlife that call our national parks home.
🔵 Support Climate Resilience: Fund projects that help our parks adapt to
and mitigate the effects of climate change, safeguarding them for future
generations.
🔵 Improve Visitor Services: Provide the resources needed to manage the
impact of increasing visitation while enhancing educational opportunities
for all visitors.
