The pesticide DCPA, sold under the name Dacthal, commonly used to control weeds on crops like broccoli, brussels sprouts and kale, has been linked to irreversible harm to the developing fetus, including impaired brain development. This action is particularly urgent, since many pregnant people may have been unknowingly exposed to the pesticide.
