John, in times of crisis and uncertainty about our future, the American people need leaders they can count on to have their backs.

But that’s not what we’ve seen with the Trump administration. Right now, we're seeing an undeniably incompetent response to handling the coronavirus pandemic. And for years, we’ve seen a relentless effort to rip away access to health care from millions of Americans. We’ve seen cruel attacks on immigrants and asylum-seekers fleeing violence most of us can’t begin to imagine. We’ve seen a refusal to pass laws that would protect our loved ones from gun violence. We’ve seen corruption and abuse of power at every turn.
