Friend – I've been called an underdog all my life, and this race is no different. In fact, experts at The New York Times said I'd have to "defy gravity" to win. But here's what I say to them: Bring it on.

I know the odds are stacked against us. National Republicans are making record-breaking ad buys to smear me on the airwaves – and at this critical moment, we're being outspent. Now, polls show me neck and neck with my MAGA opponent, Bernie Moreno.

But while my opponent and his GOP allies are counting on MAGA megadonors and shady super PACs to try to buy this seat, I have something much better, friend: you.

This grassroots team is powerful – and we've gotten this far because folks like you have chipped in $5 or $25 at a time because they believe that when we come together, we can win. I share that belief, but with fewer than 90 days until Election Day, we can't take our foot off the gas for even a second.

That's why my team and I set an ambitious goal to raise $1 million before the mid-month deadline on Thursday, and I'm counting on this grassroots team to help me get there.

So please, friend, I'm personally asking: Will you chip in $5 right now to help us reach our critical mid-month goal, win in Ohio, and keep the Senate blue?
