Working families are already struggling to make ends meet,
John, and the last thing they
need is another grocery store monopoly. But that’s exactly what they could
get if Kroger and Albertsons get their way on a proposed merger.
This deal would be disastrous for poor and working people across the
country who already face rising costs. Workers’ wages would go down and
food prices would go up. All while CEOs’ wallets get fatter and fatter. 🙄
The good news is the FTC is challenging the deal, and Pramila is 100%
behind the effort:

Pramila knows it's time for bold antitrust, antimonolopy action to help
make our economy work for working people, not just the rich who are
already at the top.
When we flip the House and elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz this November,
that’s exactly the kind of legislation we’ll work to get passed into law.
Along with the PRO Act to ensure every worker has the right to join a
union.
But there’s still a long way to go until Election Day, and we need your
help to keep this movement strong.

just the richest donors, will you make a grassroots contribution of
$3 to support our progressive movement today?
