Donald Trump has in his sights a new target for his MAGA minions: Colorado.

Trump made some wildly false claims about Colorado's universal mail-in voting system, including that Gov. Polis unilaterally expanded it to include all voters. In reality, the current system has been in place since 2013, well before Jared Polis was Governor, and is credited in part for helping launch Republican Cory Gardner to victory in his 2014 Senate race, as mail-in voting helped boost rural turnout.

Trump's lies are just another attempt to signal to his MAGA foot soldiers that when he loses, they should claim it was because of (non-existent) widespread fraud.

The only people committing election or voting fraud are Trump and his allies. And heading into a competitive election against Kamala Harris, where polls show him down and Democratic enthusiasm high, Trump and his incel Project 2025 crew have decided that the only way they will win is by undermining the integrity and confidence of our elections state by state.
