First, Trump had the audacity to claim that abortion “isn’t a big factor anymore.” Then, when asked how he would vote in the November referendum in his home state of Florida to restore abortion rights, he dodged the question entirely. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when asked if he would revoke access to abortion medication through the FDA, Trump wouldn’t rule it out.

Let’s be clear: Donald Trump knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s the man that overturned Roe. He’s pretending abortion isn’t on the ballot because he knows when people show up to the polls to vote on the issues that matter most to them, he’ll lose. Here’s the truth: Abortion is 100% on the ballot this November, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

We can’t afford to let Trump and his cronies take away reproductive freedoms. That’s why we need leaders like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz — leaders who will stand up for reproductive freedoms from day one. But they can’t do it alone.
