John,

You might know my husband Hung from his U.S. Senate campaign, and you might even have seen me out and about in our Commonwealth by his side!

But today, I want to take a moment to introduce myself personally, after all you’ve done for our family and our mission.

My name is April Cao, and besides being Hung’s wife I’m an EMT, writer, and mother of five.

You see, my husband owes his life to this country. He and his family escaped communism in Vietnam. If it wasn’t for the generosity of America, he might not be here today.

But he wasn’t satisfied with just settling down in our country and fading into the background. For 25 years, he put his life on the line for America as a U.S. Navy Special Operations Officer.

And now, even though his military career is over, he’s not done fighting for our country - and that’s why he’s running for U.S. Senate.

Hung isn’t a career politician like Joe Biden and Tim Kaine. He’s a true American fighter, and he would do ANYTHING to help make our country stronger.

Today, I’m reaching out to ask you to stand with my husband as he embarks on this incredible journey. Will you join our family to send this incredible man to the Senate today?

Hung is an amazing husband to me and father to our children. He truly puts himself last and others first in everything he does. That’s what makes him such an incredible family man - and it’s what will make him a great Senator.

I hope you’ll join my family and me today on our mission to save our country from career politicians like Tim Kaine. I know your support means the world to Hung, and it means everything to me too.
