Well before the COVID-19 pandemic, antisemitism was on the rise, both in Europe and in the United States. Now, the coronavirus has given new life to an especially nefarious canard, one that has played a central part in fueling antisemitism for centuries: conspiracy theories. Join AJC for a discussion on how to combat these outlandish, hate-filled myths, as well as for an analysis on the current state of global antisemitism. Our guests will be Katharina von Schnurbein, European Commission Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism; Nikita Malik, Director of the Centre on Radicalisation and Terrorism at the Henry Jackson Society; and Holly Huffnagle, AJC’s U.S. Director for Combating Antisemitism.
