Today is Primary Election Day, which means tomorrow is day one of the general election for Wisconsin’s Senate seat.

Here’s what will happen next:

After winning the Republican nomination, Eric Hovde will get a surge of grassroots fundraising support.

And it won’t stop there. Republican donors who stayed on the sidelines during the primary will coalesce around my opponent’s campaign. He’ll have the full force of Senate Republicans’ campaign arm and outside super PACs backed by dark money.

Wisconsin is already one of the most expensive Senate races in the country, and it’s one of the most competitive too.

The incoming flood of Republican dollars could tilt the scales of our statistically tied race in my opponent’s favor if we don’t have the resources to fight back.

That’s where you come in. I’m not going to win this race by writing myself seven-figure checks like my opponent can — I’m counting on your grassroots support instead.
