John --

It's a big week for the Pennsylvania Forward Party. Just a couple days ago, our friends in Pennsylvania secured ballot access for two statewide candidates for office. Eric Settle is running for Attorney General, and Chris Foster is running for Treasurer. These two offices should be held by people who are independent and not beholden to partisan interests, and the Forward Party is giving Pennsylvanians such options.

Eric Settle, a lawyer and former Republican, is running for attorney general to bring a fresh perspective to the office. The attorney general is a state's chief law enforcement officer, and they should be applying the law equally and fairly. A job that requires devotion to the law over any political connection is one that should be filled by a candidate who isn't captured by the partisan establishment.

Chris Foster, an entrepreneur and former Democrat, is running to bring an independent perspective to state treasurer. He's dedicated to making the treasurer's office more transparent and taking a pragmatic approach to managing the state's finances. The two legacy parties have operated too long without an independent eye ensuring they are spending the people's money responsibly and without corruption.

The Pennsylvania Forward Party is bringing real choice to the Keystone state. No more choosing between the lesser of two evils. It's time for real choices, and better choices.

It's time to #MoveForward.
