As a part of our continued initiative to inform the 9th Congressional District on the Benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and creating a clean/green economy, The Office of Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke will host Part 2 informational on the IRA “How to Access the Benefits?”

This event will focus on the impact of Inflation Reduction Act HR 5376 (IRA) on the 9th Congressional District through Empower+., now available through NYSERDA. This initiative offers significant grants and rebates for home energy-efficient appliances. During the event, we will provide an overview of the Empower+ program, discuss the IRA at a strategic level, and introduce their benefit savings calculator.

This tool will assist participants in estimating potential savings from the programs facilitated under the IRA. Also, significant emphasis will be placed on these demographic sectors: nonprofits, small businesses, and homeowners (landlords).
