Wisconsin’s primary elections are today, and there are two crucial questions on your ballot.
Voting “Yes” on both will help Wisconsin rein in wasteful, out-of-control spending — and hold politicians accountable for what they do with taxpayer dollars (your money).
Smarter spending through stronger checks and balances. That’s what’s on the ballot. ⬇️
QUESTION 1: “Delegation of appropriation power. Shall section 35 (1) of article IV of the constitution be created to provide that the legislature may not delegate its sole power to determine how moneys shall be appropriated?”
QUESTION 2: “Allocation of federal moneys. Shall section 35 (2) of article IV of the constitution be created to prohibit the governor from allocating any federal moneys the governor accepts on behalf of the state without the approval of the legislature by joint resolution or as provided by legislative rule?”
Wisconsin polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Get out there and vote “Yes” today!
P.S. We are headed into what promises to be an intense and chaotic season in Wisconsin. Your generous, tax-deductible donation can help relieve the chaos, hold Wisconsin’s lawmakers accountable, and make the state a more prosperous place to live, work, and raise a family.
