Everything's bigger in Texas, John. This photo of the world's largest working fire hydrant – located in Beaumont – is just one example. ⬇️

We're known for big hats, big attitudes, and big superstars, from Beyoncé to Simone Biles.

I like to also talk about our big hearts. The Texans I know are generous, kind, and always willing to help a neighbor in need.

But we're also one of the biggest states in the country, covering over 268,000 square miles, with a population of over 30 million people.

I'm running to be a Senator for every single one of them. And with three polls in a row showing this race statistically tied, we're so close to finally defeating Ted Cruz and giving Texans the leadership we deserve. Will you chip in $5 or more now to help get it done?

Being a massive state means it also takes a massive amount of resources to reach voters.

From putting gas in the van to get to campaign events from McAllen to Amarillo to airing ads in some of the country's most expensive TV markets to funding huge phone banks and canvassing efforts, we need to raise $100,000 a day to keep this campaign going.

Unlike Ted Cruz, I'm not accepting corporate PAC donations. I'm counting on folks like you, John, to give whatever you can to help me build the biggest grassroots movement our state has ever seen.

So please, can I count on you to chip in $5 or more today to help me reach my goal before midnight and make sure we have the resources to defeat Ted Cruz in November? We're so close, and with your help, I know we can win.

Thanks for being on my team!
