LCV Victory Fund

Friend — the latest Senate polls out of Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania are showing dead heats — these are extremely close races.

If pro-environment candidates lose these races, MAGA extremists will take control of the U.S. Senate. They won’t waste any time forcing through their dangerous Project 2025 agenda. That means:

  • more dirty oil and gas drilling and fracking on public lands;
  • allowing polluters to poison our air and water; and
  • ending programs that fight climate change.

LCV Victory Fund is already on the ground in these and other vital states. Our work to reach and mobilize persuadable voters is keeping these races close, but we’re facing an onslaught of dirty campaign cash from super PACs tied to big polluters like Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and Devon Energy.

Here’s where the polling stands:

  • In Nevada: Sen. Jacky Rosen (96% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard) leads by just 3 percentage points. (8/3/24)
  • In Pennsylvania: Sen. Bob Casey (94% lifetime score) leads by just 5 percentage points. (8/3/24)
  • In Michigan: Rep. Elissa Slotkin (98% lifetime score) leads by just 5 percentage points. (7/24/24)

Friend, we can win each and every one of these races, but what we can accomplish between now and Election Day depends on grassroots supporters like you.

Across the country, we’re seeing massive enthusiasm to elect environmental champions in November. But that won’t matter if we can’t turn out those voters in November. I hope you’ll join us by supporting our voter persuasion and turnout efforts.
