As the Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party, I’ve dedicated my time in service to organizing voters and activists in my state. During my tenure I createdProject 83 (named for the 83 counties in Michigan), to empower local activists to organize in their communities, recruit and train grassroots volunteers, and elect Democrats to local offices. As a result of this program, we’ve seen incredible wins for Democrats up and down the ballot. 

Our grassroots organizing is more critical than ever: GOP wins could mean rolling back rights and freedoms across the country. We also know that convicted or not, the GOP is sticking with a nominee not fit to serve.
