Did you know that your simple lifestyle choices can make a huge difference in protecting elephants and other wildlife?

Elephants are more than majestic animals that inspire awe in us. They are critical in the fight against climate change. Studies show that just one elephant can increase the carbon capture of a rainforest by around 9,500 tons per square kilometer in their lifetime—equivalent to the emissions from more than 2,000 cars in one year!

Climate change is quickly becoming the number one threat to elephants and all wildlife across the globe. Together we can impact the fight against climate change to protect the iconic wildlife we cherish. While governments and corporations must do their part to reduce emissions, individual climate actions make a real difference.

In fact, by 2050, 40 to 70% of all carbon emissions can be eliminated through demand-side actions like consumer behavior change and individual emissions reductions. That means you and me.

Simple lifestyle changes add up to make a significant positive change. For instance, one family can reduce their carbon emissions by 1,600 pounds per year by only washing clothes in cold water!
