There’s a lot to say about how Project 2025 would be a disaster for our country, but we want to take a moment to highlight just how dangerous its abortion rights policy really is:

“Project 2025, the wishlist for a Trump 2.0 administration…proposes mobilizing an array of government agencies to curb access to abortion – up to and including a national ban on abortion pills that would affect even states that protect abortion rights.”

This vision is downright terrifying, and it isn’t coming out of nowhere — we’ve already seen MAGA Republicans enact strict abortion bans on the state level across the country.

These attacks on reproductive freedom are symptoms of an ongoing assault on our democracy. Thanks to gerrymandering, radical right-wing lawmakers in artificially safe districts can pass unpopular laws — that restrict our rights — without facing real accountability.

We’re working to elect Democracy Defenders at the state level to support fair maps, protect our democracy, and fight for our fundamental rights.
