From as far back as I can remember, I have felt the need to overcome the angst of an uncertain future and of living in the shadows of other peoples’ judgements. I still recall the first time I told someone that I was Undocumented; how I broke down in tears with strong feelings of guilt, pain, and unworthiness - sentiments I never anticipated arising. I have grown to own my identity. I am proud to be Undocumented and Unafraid. The undocumented community continues to dream; to be resilient and unwavering in our collective fight for human rights. Despite the challenges, I choose to persist in the fight to protect those who feel like they have no options.
