A few young leaders who inspire us: Tendresse - Tendresse is a president of a youth NGO in the central province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. She works to empower young girls around the country to combat harmful practices like child marriage and early pregnancy.

Mathias: Mathias is a founder and CEO focusing on finding digital solutions and making transformational change. In his home country of Ghana, he provides farmers and traders with solar-powered storage services to preserve perishable crops.

Oliver: Oliver is a UNICEF USA Youth Representative committed to increasing access to mental health services in his home state of Colorado. Through advocating for expansion of the "I Matter" program to his local and state legislators, he hopes to bring more mental and wellness support to students just like him.

Children in Syria: In western-central Syria, a group of young boys and girls worked together to rehabilitate a public park. With the help of UNICEF partners, they planted trees, cleaned the park and painted seats and signs. See more inspiring stories.
