Team, this is what we ran on in the special election: Bipartisan, common sense solutions on the border. I spoke with The Washington Post about our stance:

The US faces an immigration crisis because too many politicians have spent too many years ‘weaponizing’ immigration policy, fighting across the aisle - but haven’t done a thing to fix it.

That is not what I stand for. We must find common ground, even during an election year where immigration has been dubbed a lightning rod issue. Why? Because the American people deserve solutions, not partisan gridlock and empty campaign promises.

I am proud to lead Democrats and work across the aisle to fix this issue.

But, team, we still have a lot of work to get done in Congress, and I am going to need your help to be there to push solution-focused legislation through. Will you chip into my reelection campaign?
